Job searching?  Depending on where you live, employers may not be able to ask you about your salary history.  Recent bills in New York City, Massachusetts and Philadelphia will make it illegal for employers to ask you your salary history.  The law in New York City is expected to take effect in October 2017.  California and New York State are considering similar legislation but we could see a new bill roll out nationwide.
